#WeAreAmericans–that is a fact of life, and the hashtag doesn’t need to represent an organization. We have a whole country as #AmericanCitizens, and our country contains and represents an advanced political modernity–#EPluribusUnum–as well as some dark facets involving #GreedAndIndulgence in the gray to black purview of #CriminalsAndCops. With #TrumpPutin, we (as #Americans) have two criminals–delusional, deranged, disturbed, malignant–on the doorstep and a #DecentAmericanWoman standing behind that door and guarding entry.
That’s this year’s choice–not #Democratic or #Republican–but between something dark, deceptive, and malign against a brighter #AmericanSpirit having the #CourageAndIntegrity to confront states-of-affairs bravely, clearly, and honestly. Try reaching across the aisle this time . . . not far, perhaps, but far enough to get through this election as an #AnAmericanPeople defending the gift through centuries of a #ModernAmericanSecularDemocraticRepublic.
