We have a whole country as #AmericanCitizens, and our country contains and represents an advanced political modernity–#EPluribusUnum–as well as some dark facets involving #GreedAndIndulgence in the gray to black purview of #CriminalsAndCops. With #TrumpPutin, we (as #Americans) have two criminals–delusional, deranged, disturbed, malignant–on the doorstep and a #DecentAmericanWoman standing behind that door and guarding entry.
That’s this year’s choice–not #Democratic or #Republican–but between something dark, deceptive, and malign against a brighter #AmericanSpirit having the #CourageAndIntegrity to confront states-of-affairs bravely, clearly, and honestly. Try reaching across the aisle this time . . . not far, perhaps, but far enough to get through this election as an #AnAmericanPeople defending the gift through centuries of a #ModernAmericanSecularDemocraticRepublic.

I have tired of answering, correcting, responding, re-posting on dumb Donald Trump, today a convicted felon with two serious national security-related trials ahead of him–one for election interference, the other for classified documents abuse–and then there’s the case in Georgia where he tried to fix election results by applying muscle or intimidating someone he thought would do that for him.

In theory (!) — in empiricism and in relation to reason itself, all knowledge must be fallible but not easily dislodged — the process that starts with “Narcissistic Mortification” leads to covering (denying, disowning, forgetting) that trauma, deciding that it’s not going to happen again, and inventing (“Splitting”) an undamaged and unassailable courageous-heroic image that may then be asserted and defended through various methods. The lying covers something awful (have some empathy) but also creates something horrible, i.e., a monstrously malignant personality, and one that exceeds the boundaries of high self-esteem and a healthy strut. 🙂 Signal–this both informed and intuitive: delusional, grandiose, messianic ideation absent of normal boundaries and limits, i.e., the parameters of normal conscience.
The lies and sophistry not only defend the projected courageous-heroic image of the person but become part of the machinery of the theater around that person. Blind loyalty–but loyalty!–and sycophancy become more prized than character, expertise, humanity, integrity, etc., or, one might suggest, that which comprises the goodness of the good.
Engage the change in the right direction, not a march into the feudal-medieval past of superstitions exploited by thugs but a major step into a future guided by extraordinary knowledge, love, and reason.

If there’s one thing to be discovered about Donald Trump, it’s what a time suck he has turned out. Criminal, demagogue, jerk, malignant narcissist, political criminal–and perhaps that’s all that has been there with his image all along.
Elon Musk’s abomination in open communications, X, has worn me down with inescapable (s)word-dulling repetition. How many times have I had cause plus opportunity to display #RussianBarbarism as too many refugees have experienced it? Countless.
Well, lookee there — maybe it does look okey dokey after all.
Still, and in any case, I tire of almost tirelessly publishing the same messages over and over to the different contexts created by recipients (who need my [blush] data or insight). And then–poof! The message drowns in the digital whitewater cascading in wild unabridged concert beside it and afterward.
Would it help to give it its own sustained patch on the Internet?
And would it be easier for me–or you–to reference as and when needed the next time #BRICS lays claim to some nonexistent ethical, humanist, moral, or spiritual superiority in matters in which it actually operates with violence against language and against humanity?
