Regarding #DonaldTrump: he’s been out of his league and basically made and played by post-Soviet Russian design. He may not have “colluded” with Putin, but he may not have known that he had been helped all along to cooperate with the mass murdering monster.
Russian power has for decades regarded America as “the main enemy”, for Russia herself has been all through the 20th Century (and earlier) a persistently absolute, barbaric, criminal, and deeply delusional enterprise as a state. Today, it’s capacity to wage war on all others in whom it finds disfavor is being bombed away into history. It will have no army, no national trade income, no industry, and no logistical power without the grace of its enemies. I expect its criminals and their money to spill into the greater world, especially Europe and North America, in search for a better deal for progeny and for whatever it has looted out of Russia.
